Covid19 Protocol
We offer a safe environment in our centers
From the Oftalvist Group we have drawn up a prevention protocol aligned with the recommendations of the health authorities.
These measures, which are already rigorously followed in all our clinics, aim to offer the health and protection of our patients and professionals facing the coronavirus (Covid-19).
In our commitment to take care of you, all our professionals are tested for coronavirus as a preventive measure.
Hygiene measures
All our reception desks provide hand sanitiser gel for our patients to use. |
All clinic employees will maintain good hand hygiene and wear masks in order to reduce the risk of contagion. |
We have installed protective screens on the slit lamps in all our consultation rooms to provide additional safety for our ophthalmology examinations. |
The clinic has implemented a rigorous cleaning protocol for all the common areas, and all equipment is also cleaned with the appropriate products after being used (slit lamps, chinrests, eye examination equipment and consultation tables). |
We monitor the surgical environment to ensure it is free from any internal or external contamination, in order to minimise the risk of infection in all our operating rooms. |
Patients must respect the safety distances signposted at the counters and in the waiting rooms, examination rooms and consultation rooms. |
Patients may only be accompanied by one person for their consultation. |
All our preventive measures are available in writing for patients in the waiting rooms, and our employees will also be happy to explain them. |
What prevention measures have been adopted in our centres?
Coronavirus Test kit
At Oftalvist we have obtained a number of coronavirus PCR and/or antibody (IgM and IgG) tests. These tests have been officially approved and have the corresponding CE and FDA accreditations.
Covid-19 Questionnaire
All the patients we treat in our clinics are tested using comprehensive anamnesis and have their temperatures taken so we can increase safety levels and minimise the risk of Covid-19 contagion.
All our healthcare professionals are tested regularly to ensure they are safe to perform their daily work activities. |
