With what visual problem do you arrive at Oftalvist?
He had 6 diopters of hyperopia and 2.75 diopters of astigmatism.
What prevented you from performing your ocular pathology in your day to day and how did it affect you?
I was dependent on glasses for everything and could no longer wear contact lenses.
What do they ask you at the Oftalvist clinic where you go to have eye strain surgery?
The ophthalmology clinic in Madrid was recommended to me by a friend. There, after the preoperative tests, they proposed that I have surgery for presbyopia or tired eyesight with a trifocal lens.
How is the experience in the operating room?
Perfect, I didn't know anything. The operation lasted no more than 15 minutes.
And the postoperative period?
No kind of problems. They recommended me not to abuse the computer excessively and after a few days I started working.
Do you follow any medical indications after surgery?
No, I didn't need to follow any instructions.
Finally, what can you do now, that you couldn't do before, in your day to day?
Many things. Now I can see the time when I wake up without having to put my glasses on, I use the hair shampoo and body wash without having to prepare it before taking my glasses off. When I enter the sea I see everything, even when I get out I locate the umbrella without the need for them to signal me. I go out without glasses, especially at events, such as weddings and so on, without the horror of magnifying glasses, the eyes have more joy.
I can buy all kinds of sunglasses, I don't depend on frames to be able to graduate, I get to places and locate people without having to wait for me at the door, I can drive and see all the signs on the road, even see the license plate of the from ahead. In short, I can do many more things without depending on glasses. For me, the quality of life has turned 180 degrees and I am very happy to have had surgery.
