With what visual problem do you arrive at Oftalvist?
I go to the ophthalmology clinic with the intention of correcting my myopia, as well as my presbyopia and also astigmatism.
What prevented you from doing your ocular pathology in your day to day and how did it affect you?
Mainly I notice that my vision is defective both near and far.
What do they ask you at the Oftalvist clinic where you go for surgery?
The multifocal intraocular lens implant, specifically a toric trifocal lens with which to correct my near, far and intermediate vision, as well as my astigmatism at the same time.
How is the experience in the operating room?
The experience in the operating room was very good.
And the postoperative period of the presbyopia operation?
It was fast, after a few days I was able to lead a normal life.
Do you follow any medical indications after surgery?
I didn't have to follow any directions.
Finally, what can you do now, that you couldn't do before, in your day to day?
I can see fine without glasses basically. It seems silly but to stop depending on my glasses after 30 years of wearing them is a most pleasant feeling. Especially for the freedom of not being aware of them all the time. Also, thanks to the intraocular lens that was placed on me, I have gained lightness and I see colors more clearly than before.
